What happens after I sign-up?
After you sign up we will send an email over with the link to your secure Google Drive, where you will be able to add any files, images, etc. relating to your website.
We will also contact you for access to your website/web hosting, so that we can begin working immediately.
That’s all! After these items are taken care of you can start sending your requests to email@example.com and our team will get right to work!
***All login information is stored securely in the Google Drive we set up for your website. Only yourself and our team have access to this.
Are these services on annual contract or month-to-month?
We offer both month-to-month and annual billing options for our plans. Annual plans are invoiced.
How does a virtual service like this work?
It works the same as any other service for the most part. The main difference is that we do not require physical space at your location to perform services. Everything is done online. You send service requests to our firstname.lastname@example.org and we perform them as requested. Not only is outsourcing your website maintenance cost effective, it allows for quicker service too. No waiting for a developer to come back from lunch break, or vacation 🙂
Is phone support included?
Phone support is generally for initial inquiries, as we can’t always guarantee availability. The best way to reach us regarding your website is by emailing email@example.com
What content management systems do you work with?
We currently have clients using WordPress, Squarespace, Magento, Drupal, Joomla, Shopify, BigCommerce, Weebly and Wix. However, we are not limited to these. Feel free to send us an email inquiry if you have questions regarding any specific CMS prior to starting your service.
If my website is not hosted with a CMS. Can you still manage it for me?
Where is your team located?
We are located in Maryland. We also work with developers and designers located in other parts of the US.
Can I freeze my service if I won't need assistance?
Unfortunately, we cannot “freeze” accounts plans anymore. This is due to the fact that we have certain tasks automated for your website. While you might not need any updates to content during a particular month, we still are behind the scenes making tweaks to your pages for better page optimization, updating images to decrease site load time, making sure you are 508 compliant, running backups, and more.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes, your payment information is safe with us. We utilize Chargebee’s secure payment processing platform in addition to Stripe for billing.
How do I cancel my service?
You can cancel through your Chargebee customer portal, or by emailing us directly through our Contact page or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Upon cancellation, we will email over a reminder to revoke any access we have to your website(s) and server(s). We will also transfer any content not yet published back over to you via secure web link. Anything not downloaded within 180 days will be deleted from our servers. Be sure to cancel service prior to renewal of your billing period. Refunds are not provided, however, we will continue to provide you with service until the end of the billing period.
