How do I get service?
Is it better to sign up for a monthly plan or one-time fix?
It really depends on your business needs. Sometimes you might only need 1 or 2 items taken care of on your website, so getting a quote for that might make more sense. Websites that require regular updates will benefit more from our monthly plan options. When you contact us we will be able to give you a recommendation based on the information provided.
What happens after I sign-up for a monthly plan?
After you sign up we will contact you for access to your website, so that we can begin working immediately on the items you need taken care of. Future requests for help can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are the monthly plans available on annual contract or month-to-month?
We offer the monthly website maintenance plans on a month-to-month basis. No contracts and no minimum commitment required.
How does a virtual service like this work?
It works the same as any other service for the most part. The main difference is that we do not require physical space at your location to perform services. Everything is done online. You send service requests to our email@example.com and we perform them as requested. Not only is outsourcing your website maintenance cost effective, it allows for quicker service too. No waiting for a developer to come back from lunch break, or vacation 🙂
Is phone support included in the monthly plans?
In our Pro Plan, we allow scheduled Skype calls and screen-sharing. For all other plans, the best way to reach us regarding your website is by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
What content management systems do you work with?
We currently have clients using WordPress, Squarespace, Magento, Drupal, Joomla, Shopify, BigCommerce, Weebly and Wix. However, we are not limited to these. Feel free to send us an email inquiry if you have questions regarding any specific CMS prior to starting your service.
If my website is not hosted with a CMS. Can you still manage it for me?
Where is your team located?
We recently relocated to the Dallas Texas area. We also work with developers and designers located in other parts of the US.
Can I freeze my monthly plan if I won't need assistance a particular month?
Unfortunately, we cannot “freeze” plans anymore. This is due to the fact that we have certain tasks automated for your website. While you might not need any updates to content during a particular month, we still are behind the scenes making tweaks to your pages for better page optimization, updating images to decrease site load time, making sure you are 508 compliant, running backups, and more.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes, your payment information is safe with us. We utilize Chargebee’s secure payment processing platform in addition to Stripe for billing monthly plans and Paypal and Square for invoicing individual services.
How do I cancel my monthly plan?
You can cancel through your Chargebee customer portal, or by emailing us directly through our Contact page or at email@example.com. Upon cancellation, we will email over a reminder to revoke any access we have to your website(s) and server(s). We will also transfer any content not yet published back over to you via secure web link. Anything not downloaded within 180 days will be deleted from our servers. Be sure to cancel service prior to renewal of your billing period. Refunds are not provided, however, we will continue to provide you with service until the end of the billing period.
